Kind met recht’s methods are clear and honest, given that participants often say: “Of course this is the way to do this. Strange that we hadn’t thought of this ourselves”.

Kind met recht operates with the belief that together you can accomplish more than when you are alone.

Kind met recht has an extensive network and works together with partners from a wide variety of disciplines.

Kind met recht operates from five fundamental principles:
	1	Seek to realize a child’s full potential.
	2	The recognition and realization of the CRC.
	3	Treat every child the way you would want your own child/niece/nephew/neighbour’s child to be treated.
	4	Respecting children’s rights does not automatically mean that children will always get their way.
	5	Be realistic: organize and coordinate effectively.
